Funded Project
The Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, New Delhi is funding Rs 20 Lakhs, for a research project on TYRE Pyrolysis Oil from Waste Tyres, as an alternate fuel in Diesel Engines, to be carried out in IC Engines Laboratory of the Mechanical Engineering Department of our College.

1 Machine - vision, creating a center of relevance & excellence under TIFAC project, DST, GOI has been preliminarily selected and the final review was in the month of Dec - 2006 5 years Rs. 4. 23 crores Technology Information Forecasting & Assessment Council (TIFAC) Final Approval Expected in 2007 August. 5 staffs from REC-Mechanical Dept. & 5 staffs from inter-disciplinary Depts., Such as CSE, MCA & IT Depts.
2 "Waste Recovery" in vehicles. this is one of the prestigious mile stone for the growth of core Engineering Branches in REC. - -
