 About the College
Rajalakshmi Engineering College, popularly known as REC, is affiliated to the Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The college was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of Rajalakshmi Educational Trust whose members have had consummate experience in the fields of education and industry over the years. Currently it offers 10 U.G, 8 P.G and 3 Doctoral Programmes.
The College has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Cer tification for academic standard by the internationally acclaimed TUV, Germany and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), New Delhi.
About the Department
The objective of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is to provide a quality learning environment, in terms of inspiring teachers, state of the art facilities, and experience sharing and widening the knowledge horizon, interacting with experts from academics and industry, facilitating the students in the process of their growth in the field of Information Technology.
The Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering programme was started in the year 1997 and Master of Computer Science and Engineering programme was started in the year 2004. The department has a team of eminent faculty members and aspiring technocrats and has made rapid strides in a short period.
About the Conference
The National Conference on Grid and Database Technologies (NCGDBT ‘10) aims at bringing together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange and share their experience, and research contributions on all aspects of Grid and Database Technologies and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions emerged.
