|
| Dr. M. Subbiah, has a long teaching and research experience spanning over 40 years. Graduating with a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from University of Madras, he obtained his M.Sc.(Engg.) and Ph.D. degrees from the same university in 1968 and 1977 respectively. He was formerly Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Dean (Administration) at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli. He has guided a number of P.G. projects and Ph.D. scholars and published over 25 research papers in National and International Journals. He has handled MHRD projects on Modernization of Laboratories in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and has also been one of the Coordinators for the World Bank Project under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme. His area of interest includes Renewable Energy Systems, Design optimization of Electrical Machines and Power Electronic Controllers. He is a life member of Indian Society of Technical Education. |

Mr. P.S. Pandyan is a graduate in Mechanical
Engineering from Kerala University. After
serving as a lecturer in Trivandrum Engineering
College, he joined the Indian Administrative
Service and held various positions in public
and business administration for over three
decades. He holds a degree in Law besides
Masters Degree in Business Administration.
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers.
He has served as Director in many private
and public sector companies in the country
and has attended many management training
programs in India and Abroad. |

Dr.S.R.Paranjothi
who brings with him an illustrious experience
spanning 42 years of which 37 years have
been dedicated for PG courses and research,
presently heads the Department of EEE. During
this period he has guided 4 Ph.D., scholars,
45 P.G., projects and many U.G., projects.
Besides being a member of Board of Studies
of several Universities, he has also served
as member of Academic Council of the Anna
University and also the member of the Syndicate
of the same University. He is also an active
member of several prestigious professional
societies like IET (U.K) and has served
them with distinction from time to time. |

| Prof.B.Govindarajulu |
|
| Prof. B. Govindarajulu is serving as a Dean (Computer Science) at Rajalakshmi Engineering College. He completed B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Regional Engineering College, Trichirappali and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He has 36 years of experience in IT industry encompassing R&D, manufacturing, maintenance, teaching, technical support and training. He has worked at Manipal Engineering College, IIT Bombay, ORG Systems, Baroda, Infotech Ltd, Chennai and Microcode. He has developed a series of microprocessor based products such as the Data communications concentrator, VDU system console and Terminal processing unit. After 15 years of industrial experience, he founded Microcode, and IT firm specializing training and development of diagnostic tools, and trained nearly 10,000 Engineers. He has been a specialist for UNESCO project on curriculum development. He has authored two computer books published by McGraw Hill :
1. IBM PC AND CLONES : Hardware, Troubleshooting and Maintenance
2. COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE AND ORGANIZATION : Design Principles and Applications
Before joining Rajalakshmi Engineering College, he taught Personal computer hardware and architecture, as visiting professor, at Crescent Engineering College, Jaya Engineering College, Vellore Institute of Technology and Sastha Institute of Technology. He also conducted networking training at Velammal Engineering College, Kongu Engineering College, J J College of Engineering and SSN College of Engineering. Presently he is working on a book titled 'Advanced Microprocessor Architectures'. |

Her professional qualifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 1992, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) in 2000 and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) in 2004. She is associated with many professional institutions in India and abroad. She has rich experience in design development and update of the course curriculum in the field of information technology and has been a consultant in the area of information security. |

| Dr.
R.V. Seeniraj is the Dean of Mechanical Engineering
in Rajalakshmi Engineering College. He graduated
in Mechanical Engineering and obtained M.Sc(Engg)
in Heat Power Engineering in the year 1965
and 1969 respectively from the University
of Madras. He started his carrier as Associate
Lecturer in Govt. College of Technology, Coimbatore.
He earned his Ph.D in the field of high temperature
gas dynamics from IITm, Chennai through the
Q.I.P. scheme. This work has been published
in four interenational conferences. He has
attended / presented papers in many national
and international conferences. He has taught
for BE, ME, MS students and also guided /
supervised projects for MS and Ph.D research
scholars. His area of interest is the phase
change processer in heat transfer. He also
serve as paper reference for the journals
in heat and mass transfer. He has also served
as a member of Academic Council, Anna University
and member Board of Studies in Mechanical
Engineering. He was involved in many industrial
consultancy activities and also UGC funded
projects. During 2003 to 2007 he has served
in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering
as Professor and the Head, Dept of Mechanical

Ponnammal Natarajan, is an Advisor (Research
& Development), Rajalakshmi Engineering
College. She has four decades of experience
with the academic, which includes 25 years
at Anna University and 7 years at Texas
A&M University USA, which is also her
Almamater. She is the recipient of Maharaja
of Vijayanagaram prize from Presidency College
in 1965, for securing distinction and university
rank in M.Sc. (Mathematics) from University
of Madras. She has served the cause of education
in various capacities as a teacher, as a
researcher and as an administrator. With
her international exposure, she has been
successful in making her students attain
world class capabilities. While serving
Anna University as Dean (Academic Research)
& Dean (Science & Humanities), she
coordinated the conduct of National and
International level conferences on Academic
Challenges for Women in the 21 st Century
and Empowerment of Women through Technology

|
| Mr. S. Sankar is a Mechanical Engineer from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchi where he obtained the B.E. Degree with a First class in 1971. He then did his M.Tech. from IIT Madras and passed out with a first class in the year 1973. Subsequently he also did two-year full time course in I I M Calcutta and completed the PGDM program. After working in India for about eight years in Carborundum Universal and Lloyd Insulations, he proceeded to Muscat in Oman and joined the Bahwan Automotive Centre, part of the Saud Bahwan group, the largest automobile company in the entire Gulf. He worked there for thirteen years in various capacities in sales, marketing, product management etc and closely interacted with world renowned companies like Toyota Motor Corporation, Ford Motor Company etc. He has attended several conferences and seminars in USA, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and has made several presentations. After returning to India , he worked in the TVS group in Chennai for about seven years in their cars division, parts division and their corporate office. He joined Rajalakshmi Engineering College in August 2008. He has a total industrial experience of over 30 years. |

| Dr.N.S.Venkataraman is an eminent expert in the field of Aeronautical Engineering having more than 4 decades of rich experinece in teaching, research and administration. A Fellow and member of many professional societies, Prof.N.S.Venkataraman had been the Professor, Dean and Director of Madras Institute of Technology for nearly 31 years. He was the Managing Director, TIFAC-CORE , Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi for 5 years. Currently he is the Professor and Director, Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Rajalakshmi Engineering College. |

| Dr.
S. Sampath is the Director, Research and
HOD of the Department of Automobile Engineering.
He obtained his B.E. Degree in Mechanical
Engineering in First Class Honours from
University of Madras and was also awarded
the J.A.Jones Prize in Mechanical Engineering
for the year 1966. Served one year as Associate
Lecturer and then three Years as Technical
Teachers Trainee in College of Engineering,
Guindy during which period he acquired his
M.Sc. (Engg) degree in Heat Power Engineering.
He has served 12 years in College of Engg,
Guindy, Govt.College of Engg, Salem and
finally in A.C. College of Engg & Technology,
Karaikudi. He obtained his Ph.D degree from
I.I.T. Madras in the year 1982. After his
Ph.D, he joined Sundaram Clayton Ltd, Chennai
as Dy.Chief Engineer, R & D and served
in various capacities as HOD, mechanical,
Dean, PG Studies, HOD, Automobile Engineering
and Director, Reserch. During his 17 years
8 months service in SVCE he had guided a
number of UG, PG and Ph.D students. He had
published 16 papers in National and International
Journals and 29 papers in National and International
conferences. His paper published in the
J.Institute of Energy in the year 1987 was
selected as the best paper for that year
and awarded the Bobcock Power award. He
was a member of the Board of studies and
Academic council of the University of Chennai
and Anna University. He is a life member
of ISTE, Combustion Institute and member
of Society of Automotive Engineers. He was
awarded the best Engineering College Teacher
Award by ISTE for the year 2002. His areas
of interest include Alternate fuels for
I.C Engines, Emission measurement and control

| Prof. M. S. Narayanan is currently a PG Professor in the ECE Department of Rajalakshmi Engineering College. He earned his B. E. Degree in Electronics and communication Engineering from National Institute of Engineering Mysore in 1975 with University Rank. Subsequently he obtained his M.Tech. degree in Communication Engineering in 1977 from IIT Bombay. His professional experience of 32 years is equally divided between the Academia and Industry. He has traveled and worked abroad. He received special training at Brown & Sharpe USA in the field of Advanced Validator Software technology (1982). He had planned and executed training programs in India and Abroad for several reputed firms (1989, 1990-91,1992). He has presented/ published research papers in National/International Conferences and Journals. He has authored a book titled “Computer Networks and Internets with Internet applications” in Collaboration with Prof. Douglas E. Comer (Department of Computer Science. Purdue University, USA) published by Pearson Education 4184 (2008). |

| Dr. L. Sujatha, Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Rajalakshmi Engineering College has thirteen years of teaching and five years of research experience. Graduating with an A.M.I.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Institution of Engineers (INDIA) in 1991, she obtained her M.E. (Applied Electronics) from Bharathiar University in 1996. She has done her Ph.D. research in the field of Micro Electro Mechancical Systems (MEMS) at Indian Institute of Technology Madras and graduated in 2008. Earlier, she was teaching at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore and Amrita Institute of Technology and Science, Coimbatore. She has guided a number of U.G. and P.G. projects. She has 2 publications in refereed international journals. Also, she has presented her work in 9 International Conferences including a SPIE conference at San Jose, California and got an appreciation for her research work from MEMS experts. She got a “Best Poster Award” for her research work presented at IWPSD, IIT Bombay and a “Best Woman Engineer” |

Dr. E. Rajakuperan is the Dean of Aeronautical Engineering (Research). He obtained his undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT, Chennai in April 1977. Subsequently obtained his M.E in Space Engineering & Rocketry from BIT, Ranchi and earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from IISc, Bangalore. The title of his PhD thesis is, Experimental and Computational Investigation of Under-expanded Jets from Elliptical Sonic Nozzles. He was a Post- Doctoral Research Associate at the Florida State University, USA during 1997-98 and performed research on Aero-acoustics and Aerodynamics of Impinging Supersonic Jet Flows relevant to STOVL aircraft. Joined the Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) in May 2008. Prior to Joining REC, he served as a Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Tagore Engineering College, Chennai for almost 3 years and had a long research career, for about 27 years at ISRO. During his tenure at ISRO, he was involved in the Aerodynamic Design and Analysis of launch vehicles and contributed for the development of Indian Launch Vehicles like ASLV, PSLV and GSLV. His research interests include Aerodynamics, CFD and Aero-acoustics. He has published 19 research papers, that include International Journal Papers, National/ International conference Papers. He takes active interest in Sponsored Research and was a Principal Investigator of a DRDO funded research work for the prediction of Aero-acoustic environment levels of a high speed flight vehicle. He was involved in organizing National and International level technical seminars on Aero-acoustics of flight vehicles. He is interested in professional activities also. He is currently a Member of the Aeronautical Society of India and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers. |

Dr.S.Chandrasekaran graduated from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He did his M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Trichy. Dr.Chandrasekaran received his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai in 2005 in the faculty of Information and Communication Engineering for his thesis on "Relaibility Enhancement of Hybrid Fault Tolrent Systems". An active researcher, Dr.Chandrasekaran has got more than 30 research papers published in reputed international journals.
A recognized Ph.D. supervisor in 5 universities Dr.Chandrasekaran has attended and chaired many international conferences. He has been a member of various professional organizations. With nearly 3 decades of rich experience in teaching and research, Dr.Chandrasekaran has been Dean (Research and Development) for the Departments of CSE, IT and MCA in Rajalakshmi Engineering College. |
