Teaching Methodology
Different courses at REC use different pedagogies, but for the majority, case studies are the main approach. Other activities include field trips, business games, role-playing, student presentations, group and individual projects, and simulation exercises. To combine classroom instruction with real-world application, many courses include professionals from the field.

Value Added Programs
Students attend Inbound and Outbound soft skills enhancement program organized by the college every year. Inbound program is conducted within college by experts from Industries. Outbound program is held for a week in yelagiri hills, a hills station near Chennai. Students are trained in communication, teamwork, leadership, attitude building. This program includes several outdoor activities besides case study analysis, management games, group discussions, mock interviews, etc.

Placements

Computer Laboratory
We have a fully-equipped computer lab with 60 PCs loaded with Systat, SPSS-18, TORA, Visual Studio – 6, and Oracle 10G besides Microsoft Office and tally which gives the student a hands on experience in software application.
