From Winter School participant to Space Research Intern, Deniston Joshua's journey is a testament to where curiosity, determination, and the right opportunities can lead. 🚀🌍 After representing Rajalakshmi Engineering College at the TU Berlin Winter School CanSat Program, Deniston Joshua, now a Final Year Aeronautical Engineering student, returned to Germany as a Research Intern in the Space Technologies Department at the Technical University of Berlin. His work spans cutting-edge research, from conducting experiments with lunar regolith (moon dust simulant) and analysing thermal behaviour using Python to contributing to Project MOONRISE, an initiative advancing AI-powered lunar 3D printing technologies. From learning AI concepts to applying them in Germany. 🌍🤖 Seven REC students from diverse engineering disciplines recently completed the Cybersol Global Immersion & Internship Program at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, taking their learning beyond the classroom and onto a global stage. The journey began with a virtual preparatory phase, where students built strong foundations in Artificial Intelligence, Python, search algorithms, reinforcement learning, and neural networks. They then travelled to Germany for an immersive onsite experience featuring hands-on AI implementation, expert-led sessions, robotics and Industry 4.0 exposure, and engaging interactions with international researchers and entrepreneurs.
