Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for BRNS, Department of Atomic Energy Sponsored Project


Centre for Sponsored Research & Consultancy (CSRC), Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the research project entitled "Development and Characterization of a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) MEMS Hydrogen Sensors" funded by Department of Atomic Energy (DAE)-Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), India. Principal investigator of the project is Dr. L. Sujatha, Professor, Department of ECE and Head, Centre of Excellence in MEMS & Microfluidics. The details of the post are as follows:

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - One post

Nature of post: Temporary

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- p.m + HRA *
(* subject to disbursement from DAE-BRNS)

Duration: Maximum 2 years or up to termination of the project whichever is earlier

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (ECE/EEE/E&I) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA

Desirable:
  • GATE Score.
  • M.E/M.Tech.(Applied Electronics /VLSI Design /Nanoscience & Nanotechnology) with min. 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • Experience of working on sensors/micro-fabrication/ simulation of MEMS devices

  • Upper Age limit: 28 Years
