Mechanical Eengineering is one of the major activities in the engineering profession, and its fundamentals are being used in almost all physical equipment and systems, design, analysis, development, and construction that benefitted the human society as a whole. Mechanical Engineering Student learning combines physics, mathematics, engineering principles with materials science.  This field aims at designing, analysing, manufacturing and maintaining mechanical systems. Mechanical Engineering is considered to be the broadest and oldest of the engineering disciplines.  This branch focuses on the core areas that include thermodynamics, mechanics, dynamics, structural analysis, electricity and materials science along with the software tools. A mechanical engineer will learn the science behind machines and the energy that makes them work. They will also apply what they learnt by creating their own machines. The development and advancement in technology has increased the importance of this field. Students are discovering a new found interest in learning about robotics, nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence and so on which are still new with ample opportunities to explore.

The scope of mechanical engineering is vast and to name a few are Production and Industrial Engineering, Automotive sector, CAE, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Materials, Mining, Piping, Maintenance, Noise Vibration and Harshness, Acoustics, Nuclear, Sales and Marketing of Engineering Product, Data Analysts etc.,

They also have the option to work in software development areas in their domain. A high percentage of students get admission to prestigious Institutes in India and abroad to pursue their Master’s Degree. Students who successfully graduate have tremendous scope in public sector and private sector organizations.
